Heartache Hangover

In the simplest terms the gig was AMAZING! I managed to sing all 10 songs without killing my voice and then did an encore with the other band too. Most emotional point was singing Sweet Home Alabama as Chinese lanterns were lit and sent off into the sky.

Then I headed out to Guildford for my final night out with Miss Laura Harvey and Mr Mike Stone before they head off down under which was marvellous. Casino finally proved to be a good place to go, see you later Dusk. Paying the price for my hectic day yesterday with a MAJOR hangover. Don't drink wine then vodka.

I never want to listen to Nothing on You by B.O.B or stupid Rick Astley ever again. You ruined it.

Slither

Velvet Revolver

My favourite song of all time to sing !! I love love love love it! and tonight I get to sing it as I'm back with the boys to sing for George's Birthday.

So excited. Also tre excited to wear my insanely high shoes :D

Fingers crossed my throat holds out. The crying and shouting of yesterday did its damage but I spose I can only do my best.

Don't Get Mad. Get Even.

John Tucker Must Die.
The source of my genius.
I hope in the future career or at Uni I may have to write an article or feature about revenge on a cheating guy as I will use this exact example. For now. I won't go public with the brilliance of the details.
But simply after being lied to repeatedly and ridiculously for a month, possibly even months, I responded with a lie of my own. With the help of my 15 years of acting and drama I delivered the scariest and most effective lie possible. It worked. Fucked you over like you fucked me over.

Lie upon lie upon lie upon lie. I can never believe or trust anything that comes out of your mouth ever again.

Hurt. Betrayed. Humiliated. Strung along.

Now nothing.

Get Up

Just made an album of all the photos I plan to print out and put on the wall of my bedroom at university. They've made me realise that there are so many people I am going to miss when I go away! Looking through a whole two years of photos really gets you reminiscing. Bring on the next 3.
Still don't know all the people who will be living in my house, so far its me and two guys called Leroy and Leon. Two more people to go and I'm not gonna lie I need some girls in there too!

It would have been George's 17th birthday on monday and his amazing family have decided to hold a party in there garden and have once again asked for us to play. Had a practise at Dickie's today which went really well so hopefully monday night will go ok.

Laura is going to Australia in a matter of days!!!! Went to the Mulberry in Farnham last night and had food and drinks with the girls. We had a beaut evening.

I have this weekend off surprisingly, dont know what I'm doing yet. Sunday should be a good day though.

Born From a Boombox

Step Up 3 - even though I wish I had seen it in 3D it was good. Script and overal cinematography not that great as even I cringed at some of the edits but te dancing made up for it. Dancing out of the cinema was not my best move though as I definitely embarrassed those around me.

Deluded is one word I think fits this situation quite well, and also ridiculous how they think they can come across all high and mighty and as if they feel sorry for me! Well thanks to the sad actions of this person, who doesn't even know me or anything about my life, I have lost a friend.  At first I was beyond angry and literally could not wait to take this up forcefully with them in person but now I realise that I could never do that. Not because I'm not angry but because I feel sorry for them more than I dislike them. I take pity on the fact that you can't seem to stop lying.
Thats another thing, this just proves that everything else that has been said (like the fictional email) was in fact a lie.

After losing one friend, over the past couple of weeks I have gained a really good one. Its weird how you can know someone for two years but I suppose only through other people then all of a sudden you're close enough to just ring them for a chat.   Even if when trying to have a serious conversation they start crying with laughter on the other end. But I suppose in that sense he's kept me grounded and not overly emotional which can sometimes come from chats with girl mates. I'd better get used to it though I have another 3 years of him at Bournemouth.

Coffee with Sam on friday went well even if I did cough and manage to embarrass myself by making all the foam on top of my hot chocolate explode into the air! I honestly just can't help myself. Walking disaster. I also ended up feeling totaly under dress as Mr Big Shot Read sat in his suit after a day at work and I was there in hoodie and leggings. But I'm proud of him and was good to have a catch up.

D-DAY is on th 19th, month after results. Leaving home, leaving everyone, leaving you.
It will be hard but I've always known that and am totally ready to deal with it. I think. I want to say so much more but for now I won't.
I'm off to work.
Love x

Champagne and Strawberries

My internet has been down for three days which is ridiculous because so much has happened in those three days. Firstly results day...

I GOT INTO BOURNEMOUTH!!!

I am so unbelievably happy, relieved, excited, scared, nervous, and just bloody MARVELLOUS!
What made it all worse was that none of the websites were working and at about half 8 I got onto the college website to iscover that I had not got two of the grades that had been asked of me but surpisingly did well in Drama.  So I then cried and was utterly distraught for an hour before UCAS finally loaded and low and behold on my track page "your place at Bournemouth University on the Multimedia Journalism BA Hons course has been confirmed". I then cried with happiness for a very long time.

Had strawberries and champagne at college and got to run around going "how did you do??" "Where you going??" etc etc. I don't think anyone in mydrama class could believe that I got two A's in both modules this year when I barely went to any lessons and did about an hours revision before the exam. It just begs the question what was I actually doing last year at AS when i got a D and actually tried. Hmm. I avoided Chris my History teacher as I got a C overall and couldnt face telling him ha! But was glad to dance around like a loon with everyone else who had done well and got into Uni.
Spent the afternoon in Camberley with Dawn, Sophie, Cherise, Natalie and Gee. The girls. It dawned on me as we sat in Costa that that was the last time we were alll going to be in college together and that we were all going to be bounced to different parts of the country as we're going from Unis like Southampton, Exeter and Brighton. I am going to miss them so much. Got to have a big night out with them in Fleet that night. I was suitably drunk by about half 10 after a whole pitcher of Purple Rain.
I am so excited about Bournemouth and I'm just waiting to here about my accomodation and hopefully I will get into my first choice of Purbeck House. Its not looking hopeful as Dave and Bassil have already heard from them saying they got into Purbeck.

The simplest way to describe yesterday is tough.
Regret, anger, pain, tears, mad drive to camberley tears, coffee, tears, wasp stings, people driving into my car, curling up in my bed, When Harry Met Sally, tears, regret, pain, more coffee, catch up, driving, anger, love, sleep. That honestly wasn't even the half of it. I have never hated myself more. I have never been more sorry. I still cant believe what I did. I will do anything/everything to make up for this. You know that.

Today work was fun. Had lunch with Sammie :) then even had tea from Cafe Nero at half 4 as there were no customers. Fun times.

I have chest pains, better go. lol x

Crete

One of the most beautiful places I have ever seen and been to. I would gladly have a house there when I'm older. The food is amazing, like the first foreign food I genuinely love, and all of it!!
We were joined by my aunt, uncle and two cousins and also our family friend and his daughter in the middle of the week.
Went to Spinalonga, the setting of one of my favourite books The Island and crazily the night before at a restaurant in Aghios Nikolaos we were sitting a table away from Victoria Hislop and her family. (She's married to Ian Hislop from Have I Got News For You.) Me and mum could barely contain our excitement but as they were eating we thought it would be rude to go over and speak to them.
They had a pontoon which you could jump into the sea from, was amazing! I have never had so much fun on holiday and even became a bit of a dare devil. Good Bye Wimpy Tash!!!
The Salmons <3 only a small portion of my exceedingly large family though which looks like we're all heading out to Crete and the same place next year. Salmon take over!!!
Raki. An after dinner shot clearly created by the Devil himself. I managed to burn the whole of my mouth with a flaming raki on the last night. Just don't do more than 4 in one night, as I learnt you get what is now commonly known as a raki-head in the morning. ouch.

One of the best holidays I have ever been on. x

What If

Phones should be made with an inbuilt sensor to know when you are totally drunk. Mainly so that you don't send text messages or in my case go on bbm.
So when I'm drunk I speak the truth but in this case I spoke the truth probably in a very very blunt way. Rereading was painful, so today I thought I would wait and think through how I would apologise but clearly waiting to think it through and purposely because that person was at work was a wrong move. Balls in your court, I don't know what else to say.
That photo is harmless.

Last night was SO fun. But at certain moments I honestly could have just left and curled up in bed and never got out of it again.
Loving our trip to Tescos at half 4 in the morning then the taxi abandoning us! ha.

5am nachos = yum x

Stay with me Baby

Lorraine Ellison.

Probably not heard of either the song or singer, but its worth a listen. Makes you wanna cry and curl up with a chickflick and some ice cream but its amazing.
Its in the Boat that Rocked and is the funny yet touching moment when Simon mouths to it after finding out his wife only married him to have sex with Rhys Ifan's character. I wish I could go back and be around in the 60s, mainly just so I could pretend my life as just basically the musical Hairspray, I think I could work the bouffant.

Guildford tonight with Miss Samantha Gray, its been a while since I just went out to have just a genuinely good time with the girls. Pre-drinking may cause some brash drunkeness on my part but I will refrain from any stupid acts as I usually do of course. If I can completely control myself in Malia then Guildford should be no problemo. Samantha is borrowing my blue dress and I'm defo borrowing her cropped top for thursday as I want everyone to see how bloody tanned I am. One good thing about losing weight is that I can now fit into Sammie's clothes, one problem though is that the clothes for uni I have been buying over the past year and half are now all too big for me. Lol spose I'll have to break out the needle and thread.

On wednesday I am having coffee with someone I have not seen in a long time. Too long really and I think we're gonna have to talk through some stuff which was the main reasons for us having not seen each other, but I'm hoping the overall meet will be ok. I mean you can't spend 3 years with someone then not see them ever again. There wasn't just a relationship there but also a friendship.

My last blog I deleted, mainly because I'd rather talk it out with someone than go across blogs again. Even though the last two attempts to make some sense of the situation have resulted in arguments I spose i'll just be as stubborn as you are being distant. It seems neither of us can see what we've both supposedly done wrong to annoy one another. Hmm. Forget what I said about tonight, have fun. No idea what else I can say cos so far nothing has been right or has given off  'wrong signals'. Also deleted it because the other situation has seemingly healed for the time being apart from the sense of awkwardness and impending future argument which has settled over my house.

I now need to find some clothes in my wardrobe which fit me and don't make me look like I'm wearing some form of hand me down cos they're so big. The fact that i've had to throw away certain items which have turned into what can only be refered to as what Bridget Jones might wear has been a pain, especially as I have no money and its not only my bottom half which has shrunk. FML, plastic surgery?... jk.

I Feel Free by Cream has just completed my life by coming on. Love it, theme song to my life.
Let's Dance by David Bowie would have to accompany that song too. Obviously need to bare this in mind when some film or musical is made about my life... or not.

All or Nothing

Well this is new to me, blogging in a different country!
It is so hot, around 40 degrees today and guess who's room doesn't actually come with air con so I have resorted to buying a fan, not an electric one no, a hand held old fashioned fan, which to tell you the truth gives about 3 seconds relief then the heat returns.
I don't wanna be all moany because in fact I bloody love it here, literally wouldn't mind living here or having a house here. Greek people are so nice and even when you don't speak a word of the language they're still nice and patient.
Its prettu quiet so compared to Malia its a bit of a stark contrast. I even got a lecture from George who owns the apartments about how dangerous malia is and that the alcohol is watered down. Then to prove it he gave me a couple of generous shots of his father homebrew vodka. After necking them I must admit my head did feel like it would explode lol.

But of course I would never desert my beloved England.
Its just that one week today I will know how my future will pan out. Whether I'm off to uni or working and reapplying for the next year. My beloved mother decided to bring this up as we were having lunch by the pool. For the past couple of days I have managed to put all cares to the back of my mind and the only thing I had to worry about was potential sunburn but my peace was now shattered. This time next week I will be in fleet either drowning my sorrows or celebrating both involving copious amounts of alcohol.
So in that sense with my results it is all or nothing. ABB or nothing.

Recently I made a massive mistake, because of this I have now rethought how I make decisions. The views of other people matter but not to this extent especially if it alters the course of my life. Also recently I was incredibly stupid leading to a mass panic on my part and also the other person involved. I need to start taking some responsibility and grow up. I am officially an adult now of course so I better start acting like one.

In response to the mistake I have been nothing but honest and several times said exactly how I felt in many essays of my own but I'm still totally confused as I don't know how you feel. We'll talk when I get back ovbiously and I can't wait to see you but I'm going to wanna know what you're thinking. Soz if that demanding but I usually know what I want and due to lacking confidence I will act like this. You know me probably too well, so I don't need to explain myself anymore.
Although I love crete and the amzing food but I can't wait to issue my surprises when I get home.

I miss my girls ;) (Malia and College girls) and I promise to taunt you with my tan when I get home.

Just got to the restaurant. Will probs do another blog once I'm home including photos.

Laaaaav you x

Wile Out

I just downloaded loads of songs that were constantly played in Malia and having those blaring out of my laptop made packing alot more fun.

HOLIDAY TOMORROW!!!

And I am finally excited, I don't know whats been wrong with me. With everything thats been going on I've kind of not really allowed myself to get excited about it. But now thank god its setting in and I am buzzing for Crete and a week with my family to just chill out!

Last night I went for drinks at the slug with Ellen, Steph and Laura which was really gooood as I haven't spoken to them in forever and the last time I saw them I could only say my big news and not explain it. As they hit the cocktails I stuck to the soft drinks and it was a lovely evening. Apart from when I managed to get lost on the way to pick up Ellen and Laura and was driving around Folly Hill for god knows how long. But other than that it was lovely to have a catch up.

So then today I worked for the last time before my holiday and I also realised before I get my results! SO SCARY. 13 days now until I know whether my life is over or carrying on to a new chapter. I can't think about either outcome. But I have had one decision which is tre hard and diffciult but probably worth the sacrifice. If I get into Bournemouth I will be selling my Reading ticket, as I have not been working as much as I thought I would be over the holidays and wont have any money for Freshers week. If I fail at life then I will be at Reading getting drunk off my face trying to forget everything! So if any of you people know anyone who would be interested in a Early Bird Weekend Camping Ticket then let me know.  I did some last minute shopping including some surprise purchases for after my holiday and found the most amazing nail varnish which smells like apricots! Ridonculous (as Sophie would say).

Of course like when I went on holiday before I will miss people, including people I havent seen this week as well. Crete won't be the same without my Malia girls and I promised I wouldn't return to our sacred town of partying. As its a 2 hour drive I think thats a good enough reason too.
I have been thinking alot recently and although I know stuff has changed and everything may be different I still don't feel any different. I will act as I did in Malia, loyal, and I guess all I can do is hope its returned. I spose I should listen to Burchy and "Be Strong" haha.

So I have until wednesday with mum, dad and mike then we are being joined by the Somerset Salmons, the Duanes and hopefully Amber if she can get a flight! Fingers crossed. AHHHH EXCITED!!!! This time I am not going to inflict third degree burns on myself so i will reluctantly be putting on the factor 50 if needs be. Only because I have the translucent skin of a bloody vampire. Come on tan!!!

Goodbye Rainy England, Hello Sunny Sunny Crete. x

I missed you and I can't wait to see you when I get back. Love you x

Bootiful

I should probably make "Tash's Awkward Situations" a regular feature of my blog as they are becoming more and more recurrant in my life. What happened this time? Basically I didn't really enjoy having to stand in a line into Spoons in Cambo directly behind a girl who I know does not like me, with her friends who I know do not like me either. Then feeling totally awful because I then feel too scared to go up to her one friend who I would normally say hi to and end up just ignoring her too. And as everyone I'm with don't go to college I had to some how explain it to them without being noticed haha. I should really know how to deal with these situations as they keep happening!

The night out was overall tre tre good, with some even more hilarious moments. Like one guy who took 2 songs to edge closer to Sammie rather than just walking up to her, then when he does finally get remotely close he then accidentally headbutts her. O. M. G. (as sammie would say) I almost wet myself laughing. It was the pure shock on both their faces that made the moment.
Jess then almost ruined my life at one point by stealing my blackberry and threatening to text a certain person something I would never ever say but she thought was funny. Damn you Jessica ;) (Smoke and a Pancake). I managed to prevent the viewing of some texts thank god.
I was called your girl which was both nice and awkward. Will see you when I return from Crete :).

After losing over half a stone since leaving college and am now officially a size 8 and on good days a 6 I am ruining any hope of my bikini body with a lunch of Chinese leftovers. So unhealthy but SO GOOD.

2 Days until Crete, Amber still hasn't got a flight :(

Crazy Cool

I honestly wonder sometimes whether my life is just going to always steer towards awkward social situations and whether or not at some point someone will cut me some slack.
So after almost worrying myself to death I confirmed that my life was not over and it was going to be ok but it has changed my opinion on that subject totally. That is the last I will dwell on that but i did encounter one of the most awkward situations of my life as I was served by my ex-boyfriend's girlfriend.
Thank the lord I was with Sammie because she literally saved my life and our conversation escalated into absolute nonsense as we tried to prevent the oncoming awkward silence. There was no like mean looks or evils, I mean why would there be, just lots of smiles and lack of eye contact. So hilarious now but at the time was intense.
Me and Sammie also had an interesting experience in the carwash and after we jumped a foot in the air when the machine started the lil polish man laughed at us and said "Oh it is your first time..." then pressed the button and laughed slightly menacingly as we edged into the carwash. Which was slightly unnerving, but we survived and Sammie's car came out sparkly.
Pub with Dickie and Adam was lovely to have a good catch up. Met their friend Rob too and then had goujons at Dickie's house. The only place where you can have goujons really, everywhere else they'd just say nuggets. Haha and like everytime I see them I had to endure far too much information. But it does come with the territory of having guy best mates. There are somethings girls just shouldnt know.
Cambo with Malia girls tonight. I still don't know if I'm ready to drink yet after Malia and as I am feeling royally shit today I spose I'd better not have too much.

Praying

"I confront my fears, if I was afraid of heights I'd stand on top of a tall building. If I was afraid of a spider I'd eat it."

Probably not the most profound words ever spoken but re-finding this on my memo pad of my blackberry made me smile. Because at the moment I am scared, maybe more worried as its still yet to properly surface but there is an element of scared.

Its creating about a million 'what if 'questions and also questioning the view I have always held in relation to this subject. The off hand comments I've always made without a seconds notice but now that it could happen, what do I do.

An actual FML moment I think. x

Dance in the Dark

My life is literally like a stupid sitcom at the moment with one slapstick moment after the other. So we go out for a meal for my brother's birthday and of course its not just going to be a normal meal out with my family because it never is. In the first 10 minutes my brother, the clumsiest person int he whole world, decided to spill his entire glass of coke into my handbag. My handbag which contains my whole life including my blackberry, ipod, two cameras and diary. All soaked. I then flipped out as my blackberry decided not to work for 15 minutes which scared th crap out of me as I've literally only just got it working! So yes that proved to be an interesting meal with coca cola jokes filling up the whole evening, even by the waitress. Not impressed.

But good hting was Mike did like all the presents I got him and the A-Team proved to be a very good film. With at least an hour of it made up with Bradley Cooper without a top on, which was lovely to say the least.

I just watched the last episode of Friends and after two weeks of no work and lie ins involving many episodes of friends it was a nice ending and of course emotional especially when you don't know if Ross is going to get to Rachel and then the twins are born... its just great. But there is one part of my life that I link to friends involving a certain couple in it that after watching the end one makes me believe in it even more. If you eventually read this you'll know who I'm on about. I love that Ross gets one more "we're on a break" joke in there before it ends.

Pub quiz later with Dickie and Adam who I have not seen in like FOREVER! I love those boys, they are like the older brothers I never had. Bless them.

4 Days until Crete.

Waiting

What is with bin lorrys, especially the recycling ones. Even when they're not outside your house they are so ridiculously loud then once they do actualy make it to your house they're there for what seems like an hour! All I'm asking for is a le in after a weekend of working but no!

Its my brothers birthday today! Cannot believe he's 15. Crazy times, well he is now about a foot taller than me and has a very low voice but its still hard to believe.
I'm taking him into Camberley later to go and watch the A-Team which should be rather good. I'm quite relieved its not in 3D as the 3D glasses do get rather annoying, especially if you're blind like me and have to wear your other glasses at the same time or then give up and everything is 3D but blurry.

Also Happy Birthday to Miss Gee Butler!!!! Our meal out last night was lovely, got to see some people I hadn't seen in a long time such as Joe who I hadn't seen since Leavers. Ridiculous! Discovering that the background music at Frankie and Benny's is basically the perfect Kareoke compilation was funny. So we had some pretty good renditions of Stand by Me and Pretty Woman.

So the next couple of weeks are me on a kind of detox, whether it will work I don't know. So far it hasn't and I probably almost ruined everything friday but I'm gonna try and keep my mouth shut from now on. Everything is always going to be in two parts, how I feel and what I should say. From now on what I should say is my priority because I'll only get hurt if I pursue the other one, also it was made clear that nothing can change. You know me well enough to know what I'm actually thinking anyway so pretending is probably the best way forward.

Once again I am slightly playing cupid. Waking up sunday morning to two text messages, one saying "Your best friend is fiiiiiit!" and the other saying "Your mate **** is actually really hot!" meant that I could take advantage of he fact neither of these people got the courage to speak to each other but both saw each other out. We shall see what happens hehe.
